Slate-effect tiled floor

New floor for a new kitchen. The customer wanted a practical clean look to go with her new shiny slate grey kitchen surfaces. This was achieved with the installation of 330mm x 330mm wavy edge ceramic slate effect tiles with a 4mm grout line. All assembled over a ply floor over floorboards. Flexible fast setting adhesives and grout were used to match the tile colour. I have to admit that I was a little unsure when this tile selection was suggested, being a fine-line between the ‘rustic’ look and ‘bistro’ look, but the customer was proven right, the final total effect was excellent.
