About Me

With a background as a senior manager on major projects plus also as an NHBC registered solo builder I very much appreciate things from my customers point of view when it comes to working with or hiring the various building trades.

Professionally trained in tiling, I have installed all common tile sets including standard, brick-bond, taco inserts, herringbone and diamond in numerous challenging wall and floor situations. I have years of tiling experience of bathrooms, kitchens and hallways in both ceramics and stone.

I observed the willingness of general builders and multi-trades to attempt tiling without training, the correct preparation, or materials, and in response I have been determined to provide a complete preparation to completion tiling service.

I attend specialist tiling courses on an ongoing basis in order to deliver the best finishes and quality by utilising the latest materials, products and methods for my customers. To-date courses covering general tiling to British Standards BS5385 plus specialist tiling areas include the following:

• Tiling Walls and Floors, Professional Level 2 at Diamond Training Ctr. / Chichester College.
• Specialist Course on Movement Joints and Uncoupling Membranes, with Schluter Systems at BAL Training Ctr. Southampton.
• Underfloor Heating, with Devi at BAL Training Ctr. Southampton.
• Tiling Fast Track Areas, with BAL at BAL Training Ctr. Southampton.
• Tiling Trims and Finishing, with Genesis at BAL Training Ctr. Southampton.
